We are a community committed to promoting the teachings of the Vedas — through Satsang, Hawan, study and selfless service — in the spirit of Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati.
“Knowledge alone is the inexhaustible treasure; the more you spend it, the more it grows.” — Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati (1824–1883), founder of the Arya Samaj
The Arya Prathinidhi Sabha & Arya Samaj of Melbourne (APSASM), commonly known as the Arya Samaj of Melbourne, is a group of volunteers committed to promoting the teachings of the Vedas to the best of their ability.
Founded in November 2007 and incorporated in December 2008, our work is guided by the sixth principle of the Arya Samaj — to do good to the whole world, that is, to promote the physical, spiritual and social good of everyone.
